Kolkata-based designer Kiran Prakash, who opened her fashion studio in the capital a month ago, recently hosted a party for her friends and designers whose collection she showcases in her boutique.
“It’s only been a month and our work is being featured in Femina. We are extremely happy,” Kiran said.
Monsoon fashion: Chilling with wine and cheese were designers Joy Mitra, Anshul Mathur and Swati Srivastava among others.Talking about the weather in Delhi, the trio gave us some tips on what to wear during the monsoon. “It’s so dull and boring outside, so one should wear happy and chirpy colours like blues, pinks and oranges. Opt for bright checks and floral prints,” suggested Joy. To this designer Namrata Vasisth, added, “Yeah, bright colours is the way to go this season.”
